Carly Hoffman is a pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for neuro-oncology patients receiving chemotherapy. She has special interests in managing chemotherapy symptoms, and in being a patient advocate and liaison for families of children undergoing treatment. Working with the pediatric neurosurgery team, she also cares for patients who have had surgery for a known or suspected brain tumor. Her goal is to ensure her patients' comfort while they are in the hospital. She is certified in both acute care and pediatric oncology.

Hoffman received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Dominican University of California and her master's degree from the UCSF School of Nursing, where she completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care Program.

Hoffman is a member of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, serving a term as president of its San Francisco Bay Area chapter.

Hoffman volunteers as a medical chaperone with the Sunshine Kids and Shining Stars Foundation, nonprofit organizations that provide social programs for children in cancer treatment.
