Karina Marini-Lieben is a social worker who cares for children with conditions affecting the face, head and neck. She conducts psychosocial evaluations and assessments of each family's needs, and she offers resources, referrals and support.

Marini-Lieben is a native of Honduras, where she earned a law degree in labor law. After moving to the United States, she earned a master's degree in social work at the University of Chicago, where she completed a fellowship in family support.
