Our Pediatric Heart Center (PHC) patients show incredible strength during treatment and leave a lasting impression on those who care for them. Weeks, months and even years after these young heart warriors leave the hospital or graduate from our care, the nurses and support staff wonder how they and their families are doing.
That's why the nurses of our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit developed Hearts at Home. Through email newsletters and events, the program helps patients and their families stay connected with each other and the PHC team. We love to receive photos and updates about birthdays, holidays, important milestones or just a random Tuesday!
